Here is a simple outline that includes most of the questions you should answer when you have a comment or bug report for a module Author. You could just fill in the "blanks" and E-Mail (or print and send it) to the module's Author. Don't let this stop you from addding more info on your system & setup, it's just most of the common stuff. What computer model do you have and how much RAM ? Were there any INIT's or NON standard CDEV's installed ? Is the "RAM Cache" on and how big ? How much memory was given to MUBBS (do a "get info" on MUBBS) ? How many lines did you tell it you have ? How big did you set the stack for each user (in "bbsconfig") ? (you could show your bbsconfig file here) What modem type do you have and what's the Max baud rate? Do you have a proper cable that sends back Carrier Detect to the Mac "Hsk in" line (see modem cables file) ? Were you using, or were you expecting DTR (Data Terminal Ready,DTR) for hang up and does your cable handle that properly? (MUBBS doesn't use DTR yet) Did you check your modem string for correctness ? THE PROBLEM IN DETAIL: (what happened, where it happened, when, what you were doing...) COMMENTS and EXTRA DATA: What I would like to see your module do in the future if possible and what other modules I would like to have:
